PAA FUND CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED
The PAA announced through a letter to the association's membership, the start of a campaign to match recent grants from several major foundations that will extend the programs and activities of the PAA. PAA President Kathleen Mullan Harris said, "Several of our nation's most prestigious foundations have recognized the important work we do as population scientists who study the quality and quantity of life on our planet. I hope PAA members will match the foundations' generosity with our own. Every member is invited to participate in this campaign." President's letter and pledge card.
2010 ANNUAL MEETING
The Program Organizing Committee has begun planning for the PAA 2010 Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas, and would like to thank you for your suggestions. Look for the Call for Papers in mid-July.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FROM PAA MEMBERSHIP
The Population Association of America would like to solicit proposals from members for workshops, small conferences, study groups or other activities that promote the strategic priorities and goals of the Association.
